just want to share a letter papa emailed me.
Thanks for the support and prayers! Praise God for His goodness for His love endures forever.
snI thought i just share with you something from the CF meeting last evening;When the road ahead is tough, remember Joseph.
Read Genesis 39:2-52
The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did, 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. 5 From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the LORD was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.
As you described your situation to me, it seems it may be a tough road for you. But remember Joseph. He had a tough road all the time, and yet he was successful. I believe you will be successful too.
NOte the blue text and how I believe it will apply to you.
(1) WHen God is with you, you are successful (and prosper) (v2)
(2) WHen God is with you, others (including your supervisors) will see it (v3)
(3) WHen God is with you, you will find favour with man (including your supervisors) (v4)
(4) WHen God is with you, the people around you (including your supervisors) will be blessed too (v5) (lots of good papers for them!)
Dont be discouraged, and let Satan rob you of your joy. Cling to the promise of God as spelt out in the bible. 5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15v5)
