Word for food

Isn't it interesting how we say food for thought? It should be Word for food. :)
I was going to say thought for food, but our thoughts generally not so good, so only the Word for food.

I pray that you and I, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the saints, to grap how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Insight vs. God sight
Search my heart O Lord. Watchman Nee had some stuff to say about how we should not search our own hearts which lead to grandiosity or being crushed in the spirit. We think we are better than we are, or we think we are the bacteria that lives on the worm..figuratively speaking.

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. (2 Cor 7:10)

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:18)

I haven't given enough thanks, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
I haven't given him enough thanks, the God of gods

I have been to caught up in myself to give him thanks, to the Lord of lords,

To the one who remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.

Man oh man, God loves you. So much. Heart bursting, mind blowing, impossibly gigantormous love. Even though He knows you, the depths of your heart, the darkness of your thoughts, the anger, the hurt, the things we mutter to ourselves when we think no one else is listening, the thoughts we think to ourselves..and in spite of all that, he loves you and me.
We come to Him because in his love and mercy, He calls us to come to him. Today. Will you turn away?
