the stillness of the morning

I took these pictures in the snack bar early one Saturday morning. Saturday mornings here are slow lazy affairs. Breakfast and lunch material (always ham sandwiches and the required fillings) are laid out from 9-11am. Everyone sleeps in until as late as possible...it's nice to wake up early and have the whole house to yourself (well, kinda...)
